Jacob E. Rothschild is a Ph.D candidate at Northwestern University. His research in political communication focuses on how the rhetoric and actions of political elites affect citizens’ political attitudes and behaviors. He has published additional research on the determinants of partisan polarization in the mass public. Jacob received a B.A. and MA from the University of Southern Mississippi, as well as an M.A. from Northwestern University.
